TISI held a meeting on September 3, 2020, clarifying the certification and mark requirements according to the Industrial Product Standards Act B.E. 2511.
The important contents of this meeting are summarized as follows:
TISI plans to implement the policy of TIS mark with QR code, which will take effect on January 21, 2021. Consumers can find the related TIS certificate of product on the TISI website by scanning the QR code on the TIS mark.
The expected size of the QR code is not less than 10x10mm (TISI has not yet released the official format, please refer to the unofficial TIS mark with the QR code format below.)
TISI has not yet issued a formal statement, and it is expected to issue relevant requirements from October to November 2020.
