On February 29, 2024, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Thailand announced a public consultation regarding the update of the 'Technical Standard for Telecommunication Equipment Using Frequencies of 5.925-6.425GHz (NBTC TS 1039-2566)'.
The update to the standard NBTC TS 1039-2566 involves the adoption of the EN 303 687 V1.1.1 standard. Following the official release of this updated standard, manufacturers will have the option to use EN 303 687 or FCC Part 15.407 reports to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of standard NBTC TS 1039-2566.
All concerned parties may submit comments and suggestions before May 1, 2024.
