Indonesia SDPPI updated regulations and issued a new online application system, effective on August 10, 2018, the main contents are as follows:

1. SDPPI announced the new regulation PM Kominfo No 7 Tahun 2018 on August 10 and announced its immediate implementation.

2. The applicant (local Indonesian company only) must be registered on the new online application system Online submission (OSS).

3. From August 10th, all new applications must be conducted through OSS. Cases completed in the old system before August 10th can continue to be carried out in the old system.

4. Although the new certificate does not show the certificate expiration date, if the product continues to be imported and sold after 3 years, it must be re-tested. It is still uncertain whether the process is carried out and re-issued according to the new application.
