In the South Korea RRA newly revised notice, the following items easily confusing, need to pay attention.

1. Article 1 Clause (1) This revised notification is effective since publishing date of it (Dec. 5th, 2017) in the attachment 30.

2. Article 2 Clause (3) Conformity assessment expression according to Article 23 can be made by previous method and new one together until June 30th, 2018 in the attachment 30.

3. Article 23 (1) Conformity assessment expression and describing method follows appendix 5 in the attachment 21.appendix 5 is in the attachment 60-63.

Most of contents in the new revised notification are effective from the publishing date (Dec. 5th, 2017) as in Article 1 Clause (1) above, except for some specific items like conformity assessment expression.

Now, RRA application website is not perfectly updated like, only “R” is put on the certificate number, there is no MSIP in that system. But RRA is saying you can use MSIP or R even if the system makes only R put in the certificate number. It can be allowed until June, 30th, 2018.

One more thing, the label format in a test report for KC certificate shall use only R since Dec. 5th, 2017 but you can use MSIP or R in the real label. But the label format in a test report for KC registration can use MSIP or R.
