Vietnamese official announcement of new regulations requires QCVN 112: 2017, effective July 1 next year.

In addition to the original QCVN18: 2014, it must also comply with the new regulation QCVN112: 2017. Wi-Fi, WiGig, WiMAX / BWA products are listed as the new standard requirements of the object, the tube frequency bands are as follows:

(1) 2.4GHz

(2) 5150~5350 MHz, 5470~5725 MHz & 5725~5850 MHz

(3) 57 GHz~66 GHz

(4) BWA / WiMAX

According to new Standards QCVN 112:2017/BTTT EMC Requirement for Radio broadband Data Transmission Equipment (Notes: This standards is similar to Radio product EMC Standard 301 489-17 series),for product for this range include but not limit to:

(1) Radio communication equipment using spread spectrum modulation techniques in the 2.4 GHz band;

(2) Radio access equipment operating in the frequency band 5 150 MHz to 5 350 MHz, 5 470 MHz to 5 725 MHz and 5 725 MHz to 5 850 MHz;

(3) High-speed radio access equipment, from 57 GHz to 66 GHz;

(4) BWA / WiMAX broadband radio access equipment in both TDD and FDD modes.

This standard will start effective on July 1, 2018 (Current requirement is RF EMC generic standards ETSI EN 301 489-1 which similar with QCVN 18:2014/BTTTT ONLY),after this date the product mentioned above will need to comply with both standards QCVN18:2014 and QCVN 112:2017.
