Argentina ENACOM Releases Updated Low Power Devices Technical Standard

On April 27th, 2021, the RF regulator of Argentina - Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) has released version 20.1 of its Low Power Devices (LPD) technical standard ENACOM-Q2-60.14.
The major changes are the following:
1.Bands 915 - 928 MHz, 2400 - 2483.5 MHz and 5725 - 5850 MHz have been categorized based on STIC service;
2.The allowed Peak Electric Field Intensity level of devices operating in the bands 3.1 - 10.6 GHz & 22.0 - 26.65 GHz was increased from 6926 µV/m to 115486 µV/m;
3.The allowed Resolution Bandwidth of devices operating in the bands 3.1 - 10.6 GHz & 22.0 - 26.65 GHz, was increased from 3 MHz to 50 MHz;
The updated standard will come into enforcement 90 days after its publication on July 27th, 2021.
