On May 3rd, 2021, the RF regulator of Indonesia - Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) released the regulation "PERDIRJEN SDPPI NOMOR 5 TAHUN 2021". This is a new technical standard for 5G NR equipment based on International Mobile Communications 2020 (IMT-2020).
The 5G frequency bands opened in Indonesia are as follows:
n1: 1920 MHz - 1980 MHZ (uplink), 2110 MHz - 2170 MHz (downlink)
n3: 1710 MHz - 1785 MHZ (uplink), 1805 MHz - 1880 MHz (downlink)
n5: 824 MHz - 849 MHZ (uplink), 869 MHz - 894 MHz (downlink)
n8: 880 MHz - 915 MHZ (uplink), 925 MHz -960 MHz (downlink)
n40: 2300 MHZ - 2400 MHZ (TDD)
