On September 25, 2020, Brazil regulator ANATEL published the Official letter nº585/2020. Due to the remaining impact of COVID-19, ANATEL decided to extend the implementation of the simplified renewal process of the certificate defined in the Letters nº134/20, 194/20 and 384/20.
Now all certificates with the expiration date from March 6, 2020 to December 31, 2020 are not needed to do renewal testing and provide new external and internal photos as long as the device had not suffered any modification.
