The Mexican Federal Telecommunications Research Institute (IFT) recently announced that it will auction additional 1700MHz and 2.5GHz band frequency resources in 2019. Among them, the spectrum of 1755MHz-1760MHz/2155MHz-2160MHz will be auctioned in the form of 2*5MHz spectrum block, and the spectrum of 2.5GHz mainly involves the range of 2500MHz-2530MHz/2620MHz-2650MHZ. In addition, the 824MHz-849MHz/869MHz-894MHz spectrum will be used for social purposes.

According to reports, the ITF has cleared the 600MHz band last month, preparing to pave the way for 5G mobile services. The 600MHz spectrum is expected to be auctioned in the first quarter of 2019.
