CHINA QOALITY CERTIFICATION CEBTRE (CQC), in accordance with the CNCA TC10 ‘Technical Resolution on the Implementation of standard GB/T 9254.1-2021’ , announced the relevant requirements for implementing the new version of the standard on its official web.
The standard GB/T 9254.1-2021 has replaced the standard GB/T 9254-2008 and GB/T 13837-2012 from the date of implementation,
The implementation plan of new version standard (GB/T 9254.1-2021) is as following:
1. From June 10, 2022 to June 30, 2022, enterprises can voluntarily choose to implement certification according to the new version of the standard or the old version of the standard.
2. From July 1, 2022, the new application shall be certified according to the GB/T 9254.1-2021 standard and issue the certificate with new version of the standard.
3. For products that have been certified according to the old version of the standard, the certificate holder of the old version of standard should submit an application in time to update the version of the standard. And according to the TC10 technical resolution, enterprises should complete the product confirmation and certificate update work in accordance with the new version.
4. For certified products that have been shipped out from the factory, put on the market and are no longer in production before July 1, 2022, no certificate conversion is required.
