Vietnam MIC Released a new Draft Circular

Recently, the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) of Vietnam has released a Draft Circular, which may replace Circular No. 11/2020/TT-BTTTT and Circular 01/2021/TT-BTTTT. This Circular may take effective from July 1, 2022.

The major added standards are as follows:

1. QCVN 22:2021/BTTTT (safety of ICT products)
2. QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT (5GHz WLAN) - the new standard can be applied from May 1, 2022, and be mandatory from July 1, 2023.
3. QCVN 123:2020/BTTTT (devices operating in the frequency range from 40 GHz to 246 GHz)
4. QCVN 124:2021/BTTTT (Radar 76GHz - 77GHz)
5. QCVN 127:2021/BTTTT (Standalone 5G User Equipment)
6. QCVN 129:2021/BTTTT (Non-standalone 5G User Equipment)
