Argentina New Energy Efficiency Resolutions

New Energy Efficiency Resolutions No. 795/2019 and No. 800/2019 have been published for Argentina for 2020 and 2021.

No. 795/2019 LED Lamps intended for general lighting.

Implementation dates:

• From May 30, 2020: Importers must have proof from the local Certification Body stating that they have started the Energy Efficiency Certification process for LED Lamps.

• From August 28, 2020: Importers must have a valid Energy Efficiency Certificate for Omnidirectional LED Lamps.

• From December 2, 2020: Importers must have a valid Energy Efficiency Certificate for Undirectional and Bidirectional LED Lamps.

• From March 1, 2021: Importers must have a valid Energy Efficiency Certificate for Tube LED Lamps.

No. 800/2019 Electric Pumps from 0.18kW to 5.5kW.

Implementation dates:

• From May 31, 2020: Importers must have proof from the local Certification Body stating that they have started the Energy Efficiency Certification process for the Electric Pumps.

• From May 26, 2021: Importers must have a valid Energy Efficiency Certificate for the Electric Pumps.
