Thailand National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission Opens LTE Band 28
The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission of Thailand opened the LTE Band 28 and introduced new technical standards to NBTC TS 1027-2560. All LTE equipment manufactured and distributed in Thailand must comply with NBTC TS 1027-2560, the standard for International Mobile Telecommunications. Frequency bands that require test reports for NBTC approval are as follows:
GSM: 900 and 1800
WCDMA: bands 1, 3, 5, and 8
LTE: bands 1, 3, 5, 8, 40, LAA/eLAA 46, and 28
