Thailand NBTC new RFID &IoT technical standards

On Nov. 27, 2017, Thailand Telecommunication Authority NBTC has just announced 2 Technical standards of Radio communications.

In order to accommodate the growing need for IoT technology and frequency requirement, the previous RFID technical standard No.1010-2550 has been cancelled and replaced with the new RFID technical standard No.1010-2560.And new standard for IoT (non-RFID) is under technical standard No.1033-2560.

Product must comply with the Radio Technical requirement, Electrical Safety requirement and Radiation Exposure requirement.

There are 2 type of certification applied, depending on the specified output power and frequency range as summarized below.
