Updated CQC Implementation Rules for Audio Video, Information Technology and Telecommunication Equipment

On May 27th, 2017, CQC issued updated implementation rules for CQC-C0801-2016 (Audio Video), CQC-C0901-2016 (Information Technology) and CQC-C1601-2016 (Telecommunications). The updates include:

1.Updated GB standards to GB/T standards based on CNAS Circular No 7,2017.

2.5.2 Application Documents was updated to add the following: (10) For Network Television Receiver, the applicant should provide a commitment letter to promise the receiver cannot access blocked overseas TV programs.

3.8.1.1 Principle for follow-up inspection: the following sentence was deleted –  “In special circumstances, it can also be carried out when the factory produces such certified product”.
