ITU Release 5G Technical Specification Draft
ITU recently released a draft technical specification 5G, a single 5G base station download speeds of at least 20Gbps. In addition, the new 5G standard also stipulates that at least 1 million units per square kilometer to support the connection, The free spectrum which requires operators must have at least 100MHz, and expanded to 1GHz where practicable.
According to the draft, a single mobile base station downlink at least 20Gbps, uplink 10Gbps. In theory, if fixed wireless broadband users use a dedicated point to point connection, may get close to the rate of 5G. And at least 1 million square kilometers per square kilometer to support the connection density requirements, more like a ready for the Internet of things. In addition, the draft also requires the radio interface to be energy-efficient at the load, and should immediately enter the low-power mode in idle time. In the ideal case, the 5G network delay cannot exceed 4 ms, while the URLLC communication delay should be kept at a minimum of 1 ms.
