Vietnam MIC Issues Four Circulars on Technical Regulation

On November 24 and 27, 2023, the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) of Vietnam issued four circulars, including four national technical regulations. Details are as follows:
1.Circular No.14/2023/TT-BTTTT, issuing the QCVN 60: 2023/BTTTT — “National technical regulation on radar transponders for search and rescue operating in the frequency band 9 200 MHz to 9 500 MHz”. This Circular will take effect from July 1, 2026.
2. Circular No.15/2023/TT-BTTTT, issuing the QCVN 110: 2023/BTTTT — “National technical regulation on Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access (E-UTRA)Base Stations (BS)”. This Circular will take effect from July 1, 2024.
3. Circular No.16/2023/TT-BTTTT, issuing the QCVN 111:2023/BTTTT — “National technical regulation on Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access (E-UTRA FDD) Repeater”. This Circular will take effect from July 1, 2024.
4. Circular No.17/2023/TT-BTTTT, issuing the QCVN 55:2023/BTTTT — “National technical regulation on Short Range Device (SRD) - Radio equipment to be used in the 9 kHz to 25 MHz frequency range and inductive loop systems in the frequency range 9 kHz to 30 MHz”. This Circular will take effect from July 1, 2024.
