New Labeling Requirements For Smartphones And Laptops In EAEU

As of November 9, 2023, smartphones and laptops in the EAEU will be required to bear an identification mark, in accordance with the regulations outlined in Decision No. 110 of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), dated September 27, 2023. Member states within the EAEU are allowed to establish their own implementation schedules and procedures for complying with this labeling requirement, with the obligation to notify the EEC. As of today (November 7, 2023), all EAEU members are not yet officially required to put identification mark on Smartphones and Laptops, MRT team is continuing to monitor the matter.
