Nicaragua TELCOR Published Administrative Agreement No.001-2023

The Instituto Nicaragüense de Telecomunicaciones y Correos (TELCOR) of Nicaragua has published a new administrative agreement No.001-2023 regarding the use of 900 MHz band and replace the previous regulation No.005-2021.
The main changes are as follows:
 Allocation of 894-960 MHz, on a primary basis, for the provision of advanced mobile broadband services;
 Permission of the use of 915-928 MHz for Short Range Devices (SRD) and Long Range Devices (LPWAN) that operate with low power;
 Allowance of the importation and commercialization of SRD and LPWAN Devices that operate only in the frequency range 915-928 MHz.
The new regulation came into effect from its publication on the Official Gazette.
