El Salvador SIGET Releases The Use Of Wi-Fi 6E Technology
On July 9th, 2023, the General Superintendence of Electricity and Telecommunications (Superintendencia General de Electricidad y Telecomunicaciones, SIGET) has published the new Resolution T-0408-2023 to approve the unlicensed use of Wi-Fi 6 GHz.
The new resolution defined 5925-7125 MHz as unlicensed spectrum with the operating condition as shown below, and only permitted for the use of indoor low power devices.
