Notice On The Launch And Promotion Of The New Network Access License Mark

On June 29, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China issued the "Notice on the Launch and Promotion of the New Network Access License Mark" to gradually replace the original paper NAL mark.
According to the characteristics of the products, manufacturers can adopt one or more of the following ways to apply the new Network Access License mark:
(1) Electronic display. Set up and present the new Network Access License mark in the operating system or management software of the telecommunication equipment.
(2) Physical printing. Adopt printing, spray painting or etching to print the new Network Access License mark on the product housing, nameplate or packaging of telecommunication equipment products and other relevant locations.
(3) Label sticking. Paste the label with the new Network Access License mark on the product housing, nameplate or packaging of the telecommunications equipment product.
(4) Other circumstances in accordance with the regulations.
From July 1, 2023, the new Network Access License mark will be officially launched. During the period from July 1 and December 31 2023, manufacturers can apply to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (Telecommunications Equipment Certification Centre) for the use of the new network entry permit mark, or they can continue to apply for and use the original Network Access License paper mark.
From January 1, 2024, the new Network Access License mark will be fully promoted. At that time, the original paper mark will no longer be issued. The previously issued paper mark will remain valid during the validity period of the Network Access License and can continue to be used.
