Australia ACMA Opens Public Consultation On Expiring Spectrum Licenses
On May 23, 2023, The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) opened public consultation on a proposed approach for spectrum licenses across the 700 MHz, 850 MHz (original band and downshift), 1800 MHz, 2 GHz, 2.3 GHz, 2.5 GHz, and 3.4 GHz frequency bands as the spectrum licenses for these bands are set to expire between 2028 and 2032.
All parties concerned can submit comments and suggestions to ACMA before July 24, 2023.
