Oman TRA Issues Requirement On VoLTE
Recently, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of Oman announced it will stop approving and importing communication devices which do not support 4G network, also the VoLTE (Voice over 4G LTE) function must be activated in all mobile communication devices.
Moreover, TRA announced the 3G network would be gradually shutdown from the third quarter of 2024.
