Australia - ACMA Published Two Standards About Telecommunications

On December 8, 2022, The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) published two standards about telecommunications officially on its website.
1. Telecommunications (Mobile Equipment Air Interface) Technical Standard 2022
This Technical Standard replaces of the “Telecommunications (Mobile Equipment Air Interface) Technical Standard 2018”, and introduces the new three Australian standard---S042.1:2022, S042.4:2022 and S042.5:2022.
2. Telecommunications Legislation Amendment and Repeal (2022 Measures No. 1) Instrument 2022
In this instrument, ACMA announces that “Telecommunications (Mobile Equipment Air Interface) Technical Standard 2022” will commence at the start of 22nd December 2022.
