Chile SUBTEL Release Res. 2844 To Amend Res. 1985/2017

On September 14th, 2022, the Subsecretaría de Telecomunicaciones (SUBTEL) in Chile has published the Resolution No.2844, to modify the three items in Resolution No.1985 of 2017 that define the frequency allocation and power limits for SRD (Short Range Devices).
The main amendments are as follow:
 Article 1, item h: Remove the following band and field strength value "2,400 to 2,483.5 MHz 50 mV/m at 3 meters" for equipment used for medical applications.
 Article 1, item i: Redefine the max output power of Vehicle Radar operating at 76~77 GHz as EIRP 50 dBm.
 Article 1, item j.1: Redefine the frequency range of WiFi 6E from “5925-7125 MHz” to “5925-6425 MHz”.
