Hong Kong OFCA Release Issue 2 of TAC 002

Recently, the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) in Hong Kong has released the updated Type Acceptance Criteria (TAC) 002: Type Acceptance Criteria for User Equipment for Use in Public Mobile Communications Services Employing CDMA Direct Spread (UTRA FDD) and/or Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access (E-UTRA) Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) and Operating in the 850 MHz Band.
The main change includes:
1, Expansion of the scope of this type acceptance criteria to include user equipment employing E-UTRA FDD and operating in the 850 MHz band
2, Extension of the paired 850 MHz band to 825 – 837.5 MHz / 870 – 882.5 MHz
