India TEC Issued MTCTE Phases 3 and 4 Notification

On 22 September, 2021, Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) in India issued a new Notification about Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecommunication Equipment. This Notification announced a mandatory product list for Phases III and IV. The specific implementation dates are as follows:
1. Phase III (10 products):
The acceptance of application for the Phase III products will start from 11 October, 2021, and the Certification becomes Mandatory from 1 July, 2022.
2. Phase IV (36 products):
A. The acceptance of application for Safety&EMC/EMR will start from 11 October, 2021, and the Certification becomes Mandatory from 1 February, 2022.
B. The acceptance of application for other requirements in the ER will start from 1 January, 2022, and the Certification becomes Mandatory from 1 July, 2022.
