Thailand May Approve 5G Test This Week
Thailand's NBTC recently announced that it will decide on Thursday whether to assign idle 26GHz spectrum to AIS and True Corp for 5G testing.
If the resolution is adopted, NBTC will conduct spectrum assignment from November 22 to December 15 for testing in both areas. AIS plans to use Nokia's network equipment for 5G testing at Emporium Mall in Bangkok, while True Corp wants to use Huawei's equipment for testing at EmQuartier Mall.
