France Completes Spectrum Resource Allocation

Arcep, a French telecommunications regulator, has recently completed its spectrum allocation for major market operators.

At 2.1GHz band, Arcep allocates 14.8MHz spectrum to Bouygues, Free Mobile, Orange and SFR respectively, which will be launched in August, 221. In the 900MHz band, four operators have received 8.7MHz spectrum respectively, and will be launched in December 2024. In the 1800MHz band, Free Mobile is not allocated, and the other three operators receive 20MHz resources respectively.
