UHF RFID Band Open

The Paraguayan Regulator – Comisión Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (CONATEL) – have recently published Resolución Directorio 898/2018 on their official webpage, which confirms that UHF RFID Approvals are now permitted in Paraguay.

There was previously no frequency band for UHF RFID Approvals indicated in any Paraguayan regulation.

The frequency band and maximum power limits for UHF RFID Approvals in Paraguay are as follows:

1. Frequency Band: 865.6 – 867.6 MHz;

2. Maximum Output Power: 2W ERP.

These limits align with the ETSI EN 302 208 standard.
