Thailand Increase 1800MHz Spectrum Auction Group

The Thailand Telecom regulator, NBTC, originally planned to split 90MHz's 1800MHz spectrum into 3 groups for auction, and finally decided to add three times to 9 groups for sale.

NBTC plan, when qualified bidder has only one person, auctions three sets of spectrum, two people auctions four sets of spectrum, three people auctions six sets of spectrum, and four or more bidders sell all nine sets of spectrum.

Officials believe that this change can better meet the different needs of the bidders and increase the competitiveness of the bid.
