GTel Gets Vietnam 4G Licence
Recently, the Vietnamese intelligence minister Truong smart Tuan signed a license license to allow Vietnam mobile network operator gtel to provide 4G business in china.
Gmobile, owned by GTel, now has 4G licences with three companies, Viettel, VNPT and MobiFone. GTel will deploy its 4G business using the 1800MHz spectrum previously reserved for 2G services.
The Ministry of telecommunications said earlier that the network provider's responsibilities regarding coverage, business quality and service costs are clearly marked on the licence to ensure that users' rights and interests are realized and deployed as soon as possible. It is reported that the 4G development goal of the Ministry of telecommunications is to achieve 95% of the population coverage in 2020.
