EU Proposed Free Pan European WiFi Network
The European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of Europe have recently agreed to deploy a public WiFi network in all member countries so that all EU owners and visitors can access free WiFi networks in public areas.
This program called WiFi4EU is the European Commission President Juncker first announced in September 2016, the plan aims to provide free wireless internet access network before 2020 in the region in the center of the city, all the villages of eu. "WiFi4EU" is part of the EU's single digital market strategy. The EU believes that with the growing demand for data and connections, the previously enacted Telecommunications Regulations are no longer applicable, and therefore proposed a strategy to build a single digital market. The EU hopes to use the strategy to tap the potential of the data economy, respond to cyber security challenges, protect European assets, and promote a fair Internet ecosystem.
