Charter Florida 5G Test Approved

According to a registration document recently approved by FCC, Charter communications seems ready for 5G system testing.

At present, Charter also did not respond to the matter, but the contents of the documents show that the company will cooperate with Ericsson, using millimeter wave spectrum in the 27.5GHz-28.35GHz band in the Florida area radio technology test.

Charter and Comcast are currently using Verizon's spectrum operations MVNO. The two sides have recently reached a consensus, will jointly carry out the wireless space in a number of possible operation area exploration work, including the creation of a common platform, the development of technical standards and coordination device, forward and reverse logistics and emerging wireless technology etc.
