Bahamas URCA Opens Public Consultation on 5G Technology

The Utilities Regulation & Competition Authority (URCA) of the Bahamas has recently released a public consultation for 5G mobile communications systems.

The consultation focuses on establishing a Roadmap to enable 5G deployment in the Bahamas and identifying any outstanding regulatory and policy issues that need to be addressed for the successful implementation of 5G in the country.

All concerned parties are invited to submit comments and suggestions by October 7, 2024.
