Ghana MoCD Launches 5G Network
On November 1, 2024, the Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation (MoCD) in Ghana announced the official launch of Ghana’s 5G network, marking a pivotal moment in the country’s digital development.
According to the Minister, the initial 5G rollout will start in major cities, including Accra, Kumasi, and Takoradi, with nationwide coverage planned by 2026.
