Vietnam Issues New Technical Standards for Land Mobile and TETRA Radio Equipment

On November 21, 2024, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam issued Circular QCVN 100:2024/BTTTT, establishing stricter standards for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for land mobile radio and terrestrial trunked radio (TETRA) equipment. The regulation will replace QCVN 100:2015/BTTTT and will come into effect on January 1, 2025. Products must comply with this new standard by July 1, 2025.

2.     Land Mobile Radio (Data & Voice)

Detachable Antenna: HS 8517.61.00, 8517.62.59

3.     TETRA Radio Equipment

Base Station: HS 8517.61.00

Mobile Devices: HS 8517.14.00, 8517.62.59
