Indonesia Plans to Open 5925-6425 MHz and WPT Bands
On December 17, 2024, the Ministry of Communication and Digital proposed amendments to the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Number 2 of 2023 to enhance internet access speed and device efficiency. Key updates include new radio frequency bands: 5925-6425 MHz for RLAN devices and 315-405 kHz and 1700-1800 kHz for SRDs, particularly for Wireless Power Transmission (WPT).
