On January 10, 2023, the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) of Vietnam launched a public consultation about the National Technical Regulation(QCVN 117:2023/BTTTT) on Land Mobile User Equipment - Radio Access .
The draft QCVN 117:2023/BTTTT regulation adds the following LTE frequency bands, compared with the current technical regulation (QCVN 117:2020/BTTTT):
LTE B28 : 703 MHz - 733 MHz / 758 MHz - 788 MHz
LTE B40 : 2300 MHz - 2400 MHz
LTE B41 : 2500 MHz - 2690 MHz
MIC plans to enforce the standard QCVN 117:2023/BTTTT and replace QCVN 117:2020/BTTTT from July 1, 2024.
All parties concerned can submit comments and suggestions to MIC before March 10, 2023.
