On May 16, 2023, The Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) in Argentina has announced the entrance of WiFi 6E technology in Argentina.
To support the technological evolution and future development in the country, the regulator authorized entirely the allocation of 6 GHz spectrum band from 5925~7125 MHz as unlicensed use to the public for better WiFi quality and service.
At the moment, we are looking forward to the corresponding new standard and the possible test procedure which may be issued soon by the authority that regulate the details of certification procedure and enable the homologation of this type of product related to WiFi 6E interface.
