Indonesia Announced Local Testing Roadmap

Indonesia is planning to transition most of telecommunication device testing to local testing by the end of 2026. The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) announced this goal on June 4, 2025, aiming to conduct most of the testing domestically by the end of 2026.

Under KEPMEN KOMDIGI NO 13 TAHUN 2025, the list of recognized foreign test laboratories will remain valid until December 31, 2026. If the roadmap remains unchanged, the DJID will only accept local or MRA (Mutual Recognition Arrangement) test reports for certification processes starting January 1, 2027.
