Saudi Arabia SASO Issued RoHS Regulation
On 9 July, 2021, the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has issued the Technical Regulation for Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS). It will come into effect on January 5, 2022.
This new regulation imposes restrictions on six hazardous substances in electronic and electrical equipment (EEEs).

2. ICT Equipment
3. Lighting Equipment
4. Tools, Electrical, and Electronic Equipment
5. Games, Entertainment Devices and Tools, and Sports Equipment
6. Monitoring and Control Tools
