Morocco ANRT Releases New Short Range Device Decision
On 7th May 2021, the RF regulatory of Morocco - Agence Nationale de Réglementation des Télécommunications (ANRT) released a new decision regarding on Short Range Device. The major changes are below:
1.Introduction of Wi-Fi 6E
Frequency bands | Max output power | Special conditions |
5925 – 6425 MHz | 200 mW EIRP | This band is intended for indoor use only. Use inside vehicles /rolling stock is not allowed. |
5925 – 6425 MHz | 25 mW EIRP | This band can also be used by portable devices (smartphones, etc.) for indoor and /or outdoor use. These uses are not permitted in unmanned flying devices. |
2.Extension of the scope of use of the band 24,00 – 24,25 GHz to cover omnidirectional obstacle detection radars and motion detection radars
Frequency bands | Max output power | Special conditions |
24,00 – 24,25 GHz | 100 mW EIRP | This band is intended for omnidirectional obstacle detection radars and motion detection radars. |
