Changes on EE, RoHS, LVE
Pursuant to Decision 04/2017/QD-TTg published on 2017, Laptop / Notebook PC should affix regulatory Energy Label after getting Energy Efficiency DoC, which requries TCVN 11848:2017 and TCVN 11847:2017 report. The transition period will end on December 31, 2019 and become mandatory from January 1, 2020.

UAE: Updates on ECAS (Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme) from August 1, 2019
1. Besides Safety and RoHS, Television sets should comply to ECAS regulation for EESL
(Energy Efficiency Standards Labelling) after August 1, 2019.
2. IT/AV products should comply to ECAS regulation for Low Voltage Equipment (LVE) after August 1, 2019.
EACU: EAC RoHS (TR 037/2016) is mandatory from March 1, 2020
EAC RoHS (TR 037/2016) is effective from March 1, 2018 with 2-year transition period and becomes mandatory from March 1, 2020.
EACU: Changes on LVE (TR CU 004/2011) and EMC (TR CU 020/2011)
On March 25, 2019, new decision EEC No. 41 was officially published and applied from April 24, 2019.
The decision shows the changes on technical regulations of LVE (TR CU 004/2011) and EMC (TR CU 020/2011) related to lighting equipment.
