Indonesia-EMI Requirements Update

With regard to the Indonesian EMI test, local updates are as follows:

1.Devices charged directly by AC powered, such as desktop and PC, EMI testing is now required.

2.DC-in devices, such as notebook, tablet and mobile phone, EMI testing is not required.

In addition, according to the official new regulations SP2 331/BBPPT.31/III/2017, In March 10, 2017, when there are issue of the product before testing … the applicant is given ONE CHANCE repairing or change of sample, applicant that received the pardon to have the chance to repair or replace the sample will need to return with the solution within 30 days. If the applicant did not fulfill number 2, within 30 days, the lab will automatically cancel the testing and FULL FEE will be charged and the applicant will need to redo the whole certification including pre-test. If the testing result that is not fulfilling the testing standard will not be given chances to resubmit new sample or repair the sample.
