GSO – Rules for the Use of the GSO Conformity Tracking Symbol

On November 14, 2016, the GSO issued the GSO Conformance Tracking Symbol Use Rule based on the announcement of the implementation of the Certificate Registration System published by the Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO). GSO Conformity Tracking Symbol (GCTS) must be affixed to all relevant products in accordance with the conformity assessment procedure since January 1, 2017.

From January 1, 2017, all products shall carry the GCTS mark and meet the requirements of the applicable rules. This requirement will be enforced on April 1, 2017.

In the most recent usage rules, the GCTS logo containing the G marking, four-digit code of the Notified Body, and the two-dimensional code must be affixed to the product, packaging, and product random files.
