Argentina ENACOM Updates New Testing Standards For Cellular Devices

On December 5th, 2023, The Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) in Argentina has published Resolution 2097/2023 to introduce a new Testing Standard ENACOM-Q2-61.03 V23.1, titled “User Terminals for SCM (Mobile Communication Systems) & STeFI (Reliable and Intelligent Telecommunications Service)”, for cellular devices 2G/3G/4G/5G.
The new version replaced the existing standard ENACOM-Q2-61.03 V17.1, titled “User Terminals for Mobile Communication Systems standard”, and regulated the operating conditions for the allocated frequency band of 5G NR and allows the ENACOM homologation of 5G devices.
The new testing standard has come into effect from the publication date.
