Nepal NTA Publish New Frequency Policy
The Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has published new frequency policy 2080, announcing the following updates:
1. The allowed 5 GHz band has been extended as follows:
5.150 – 5.350 GHz
5.470 – 5.650 GHz
5.725 – 5.825 GHz
2. The 865 – 868 MHz band has been allocated for M2M and IoT applications.
3. The 6.0 – 8.5 GHz band has been allowed for UWB applications.
