Armenia Introduces “e-Mark” Pilot Program For Laptop And Mobile Phone

On August 24, 2023, the Government of the Republic of Armenia issued Resolution No. 1431-L, announcing the launch of a pilot program for the labeling (e-Mark) of laptops and mobile phones. This program, commencing on September 1, 2023, is focused on products falling under specific EAEU HS codes.
The pilot program is designed to implement identification measures to combat counterfeiting and smuggling in Armenia. It is planned to schedule to make mandatory labeling effective from November 1, 2023.
