Vietnam MIC Temporarily Suspends The Partial Or Full Implementation Of Some QCVN Standards

On September 7, 2023, the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) in Vietnam has officially released new Circular 10/2023/TT-BTTTT which aims to temporarily suspending the partial or full implementation for a number of QCVN standards mentioned in Circular 04/2023/TT-BTTTT.
The main points of Circular 10/2023/TT-BTTTT are as follows:
1. The implementation of QCVN standards applicable to 5G terminal equipment and 5G mobile phones, including QCVN 127:2021/BTTTT, QCVN 129:2021/BTTTT and QCVN 18:2022/BTTTT, is fully suspended until 2023.12.31.
2. Suspend the implementation of the technical requirements under extreme test conditions of QCVN 117:2020/BTTTT (2/3/4G), QCVN54:2020/BTTTT (BT/Wi-Fi 2.4G), QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT (Wi-Fi 5G) until 2023.12.31.
3. Suspend the implementation of the technical requirements under extreme test conditions of NFC (QCVN 55:2011/BTTTT) until 2024.06.30.
4. The implementation of standard QCVN 124:2021/BTTTT which applicable to 76~77 GHz vehicle radar, is fully suspended until 2024.06.30.
Circular 10/2023/TT-BTTTT is valid from September 5, 2023.
